Title: Patterns and Threads in Media Technology
Abstract: The group that is formally called the Multimedia performs research and education op topics such as mobile and VR interaction, applied games, music information retrieval, and pattern recognition in text, images, video en 3D objects. I will present the research lines and common approaches, and give illustrations with a number of appealing projects. I shall also demonstrate impact with a number of initiatives in education, and collaborations within the university and societal partners.
